Make It Happen Monday – Learning, Fixing, and Moving Forward

Good Monday morning! Today is another one of those run-around-and-get-stuff-done kind of Mondays. This time of year, we spend a ton of time jumping on updates and renovations. On deck today: replacing two kitchen faucets at different properties. I used to be intimidated by plumbing—water can cause serious headaches—but now I’ve gained enough experience to know what I can handle, and more importantly, when to call in someone smarter than me.

That’s been one of my best lessons in business and life: surround yourself with people who know more than you in the areas you’re growing in. I keep a list of those folks close and lean on them heavily—it makes life so much easier. Last week, we had a gas dryer installed. I’ve done it before, but I’ve also messed it up before, and a leaky connection is nothing I like to play around with. This time, I called in the pro. It cost us a little, but it was worth every penny for the peace of mind.

In that same mindset, I love talking with clients about their homes—what needs updating, what’s worth doing, and what to avoid. Not everyone listens (hey, that’s life), but those who do often walk away appreciating the time, insight, and value I bring to the table.

Today’s lineup:
 Two faucets to install
 An appraisal on one of our buildings
藺 More improvements during our “slower” season
 Jake’s main bedroom carpet is all laid and set. We’re tearing into the small bedroom now, and that’ll be finished soon too. Next up? Moving the big TV and mounting it over the bar, rearranging the living room, and adding carpet tiles there as well. So many projects, never enough time—but we love staying on our toes.

Also… spring and fishing are coming soon! We’ve got a fun trick up our sleeve for the pond that we’re excited to share, so stay tuned. The forecast says 50s later this week, and that should finally start breaking up this stubborn snowpack.

 Got questions about anything we’re working on—real estate, renovations, rental updates, or how we can help you? Reach out anytime—call/text 906-370-1670 or email Adventures@VaultVentures.co. We’re always happy to talk shop, share tips, and help however we can.

Cheers to another productive Monday! Let’s make it a great week. ️
