The thing about deer—especially bucks this time of year—is that they don’t follow a schedule. As the rut draws near, new visitors begin to wander in, exploring new territories and seeking out love interests. This handsome newcomer showed up on camera for the first time today, likely cruising through in search of does. Hopefully, he sticks around long enough for another photo or two! It’s always exciting to see new faces pop up as the woods come alive with fall activity.
