From Ice to Open Water — Spring Has Arrived

More updates are coming soon—and there’s a lot in motion.
We’re getting ready to roll out:
Adventure Cabin #3 & #4
Final steps on Thor’s Den (the second half of Jake’s Bed & Bar)
Ongoing sales and projects that continue to push things forward
But today… we take a second to enjoy the shift.
Spring is here.
This past weekend we started seeing deer and turkey back on the trail cams, a sure sign that winter is loosening its grip. And then yesterday, one of those moments that reminds you how fast things change in the UP—
Morning: pond was ~90% ice covered
4 PM: down to about 10%
5:30 PM: completely open water
Just like that.
With that comes everything we’ve been waiting for:
MTU Graduation Weekend kicking off
Trout Season opening Saturday
Steelhead runs shaping up to be strong with the late winter
Warmer temps, blue skies, and longer days
This is the season where everything wakes back up—and we’re right there with it.
👉 Are you getting out for trout opener this weekend?
👉 River, lake, or just enjoying the sunshine?
