Summer Is Here — And So Is a Whole Lot of News from Vault Ventures

If the license plates rolling through the Western UP this week haven’t convinced you that summer is officially here, we don’t know what will. Alaska. Texas. Kansas. Arizona. They’re all showing up, and if Memorial Day weekend is any indication, 2026 is starting out fast. We couldn’t be more ready.

The last four weeks have been an absolute whirlwind at Vault Ventures — and we mean that in the best possible way. Here’s what’s been going on.

Adventure Cabins Are Open

Adventure Cabins 1, 3, 4, and 7 are live, active, and ready to host. If you’ve been watching us build this out, now’s the time to book. Adventure Cabin 6 is close behind — fresh paint is going on now and furnishing is coming. We’ll share the full reveal when she’s ready.

The Campground Is Almost Here

This is a big one. The Adventure Campground is going live within the next two weeks with 9 sites — 5 full hookup and 4 with water and electric. If you’ve been waiting to get out here with your rig, keep an eye on the calendar. Availability is going to move fast once we go live.

Adventure Suite 11 Coming Soon

Add Suite 11 to the list of spaces getting ready for guests. She’ll be ready to host in about a week. More details coming as we get closer.

Real Estate Wins Worth Celebrating

On the real estate side of things, we got one of our listings to closing — and sent our sellers off into summer with a huge sense of relief. Their next chapter takes them all the way to Nevada. Exciting stuff, and we couldn’t be happier for them. We also have a buyer client closing on her new UP home next week as she begins her own adventure here. Two families starting fresh. That never gets old.

A Graduation Moment

In the middle of all of this, our oldest son graduated high school. Anyone who’s been through it knows that feeling — you blink and suddenly they’re walking across a stage. Where did the time go? Incredibly proud doesn’t begin to cover it. Congratulations, buddy.

Trail Cam Action Is Heating Up

The critters have been putting on a show. We had a sow bear come through with two cubs — and a second bear wander through not long after. The deer are still transitioning out of their scraggly winter coats, doing that awkward patchy phase before they settle into those rich reddish-brown summer coats. No fawns on camera yet, but we’re watching. We’ll keep posting the highlights.

Projects in Progress — and On the Horizon

We still have more to share from the Thor’s Den renovation series. Reno is done, furnishing is underway — we’ll get that content out as things come together.

Two bigger projects are kicking off soon. Sandy Lake Retreat is getting a full new floor — vinyl plank going in to replace the carpet — and while Ark Renovations is at it, they’ll also be tackling a new bathroom and potentially the kitchen. It’s going to be a great refresh for that space.

Ark Renovations is also taking on a full rehab of the second half of our Concord Street half-duplex. Supplies are being ordered now. We’ll be sharing the journey on both projects — photos, progress, the whole thing — as they move through it.

Four Season Solutions has been all over our spring cleanup and has the mowing season rolling across our properties. Outside of the Concord Street project, most of our spring work is wrapping up right as we shift into full summer mode.

Here We Go

Summer in the Western UP is something else. We’ve got guests coming, sites going live, projects finishing, and plenty of trail cam footage along the way. We’re looking forward to sharing all of it — the work, the wins, and the UP adventures in between.

Cheers, Adventurers. It’s going to be a great one. 🌲
