Six Months In: A New Chapter of Freedom
Six months ago, I took a leap of faith and decided to become a full-time short-term rental host. And let me tell you, it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
It’s been a whirlwind of activity, from welcoming guests to managing properties, and I’ve loved every minute of it. One of the great benefits? The incredible reviews from our guests! It’s so rewarding to know that we’re providing amazing experiences for people from all over the world.
The largest benefit of this lifestyle has been the extra time I’ve gained to spend with my family. We’ve been able to travel, explore new hobbies, and simply enjoy each other’s company. It’s truly been a game-changer. We saw sights here that we typically take for granted as well as hitting over 20 different beaches over our summer. There was time for fishing and driving lessons and visiting with friends. There’s a great more we need to learn to do as we take advantage of this opportunity and relearn to live life and make time to enjoy it.
I’m so grateful for this opportunity to pursue my passion and create a life that I love. Here’s to many more months of adventure and growth!
