🏡 Mobile Contractor Monday – Smarter Systems, Smoother Stays
Sometimes the best days on the road come with a side of productivity—and a bit of bird hunting! Today’s mobile office adventure took us from property to property as we upgraded five of our rentals to WiFi-powered Schlage Encode locks. These locks are game changers! Controlled right from the phone app, they integrate directly with our Hospitable Property Management System, automatically creating, activating, and deactivating guest codes based on reservation dates. No more manual entry, no missed messages—just seamless automation and happy guests.
While we were at it, we also upgraded our thermostats to Honeywell T6 smart thermostats, also synced with Hospitable. They automatically warm the unit before check-in and shift into energy-saving mode at check-out. It’s all about simplifying operations, saving energy, and making sure every stay is comfortable from the moment guests arrive.
Fall is officially here in the U.P.—crisp air, rustling leaves, and that familiar excitement as we get ready for deer season and the countdown to snowmobile season. ❄️ We’re keeping the adventures rolling (even if it means chasing Wi-Fi signals and grouse on the same day).
