New Chapter in Chassell: Introducing Chassell Adventure Cabins, Campground & Apartments

From the chaos of snowmobile season to helping clients close on their new hunting and fishing properties, life hasn’t slowed down much around here. As winter begins to loosen its grip and rentals start to taper, real estate searches and sales start picking up — and this year, that momentum included a major move for our own portfolio.

We officially closed on Pike River Apartments & Greenlight Cabins, and we’re excited to introduce its next chapter:

Chassell Adventure Cabins, Campground & Apartments

  • 14 Campsites
    • 8 with Water & Electric
    • 6 with Electric
  • 6 Small Cabins
  • 5 Apartments
  • 7.5 Acres of Land in Chassell

This property gives us something we’ve been looking to expand into — a true multi-option destination. Cabins for couples or small groups. Campsites for travelers exploring the U.P. by RV. Apartments for traveling professionals, MTU families, and extended stays.

The Cabins

Our six small cabins will offer that true “UP camping feel” — but with comfort. Each will include:

  • Queen beds
  • Full kitchens
  • Full bathrooms
  • Heat for year-round stays

Cozy, functional, simple, and perfect for both summer travelers and winter adventurers.

The Campground

Fourteen sites to start — with room to grow.
With 7.5 acres, we have space to:

  • Expand campsite count
  • Add rustic tent sites
  • Potentially build out more full-service sites

Chassell is a quiet gem. Whether it’s fishing Chassell Bay, attending Strawberry Fest, visiting MTU, or exploring the Keweenaw, this gives guests an affordable, well-located basecamp.

The Apartments

The five apartments create strong versatility:

  • Traveling professionals
  • Husky families
  • Long weekend explorers
  • Contractors working in the area

It fits perfectly with what we already do well — furnished stays with flexibility.

We’ve already listed the first cabin, with three cabins and an apartment coming online shortly. Before long, the full property will be operational.

There’s something exciting about building something from potential — refreshing, improving, and giving guests better options while growing responsibly.

Cheers to 2026 and all it has to offer.

We’re looking forward to green grass, full docks, and long summer nights — but we’re just as excited about building this next chapter.

 Have you stayed in Chassell before?
 Would you choose a cabin, campsite, or apartment for your UP trip?

Let us know — and keep an eye out as we introduce each unit individually.
