- You are provided a code for the lock to use during your stay
- Coin Laundry is next door at the Laundromat along with some pop & vending machine options
Check-Out
- Please leave the property in good general order
- Please clean and put away any dishes or cookware that you use during your stay
- Please turn off all lights, fans, and tvs
- Please place all used towels in bathroom hamper – we will wash them after your stay
- Please do not remake beds, we will take care of stripping and laundering them
- We will take care of any trash
- Message us upon departure – our cleaners appreciate it and it assists their scheduling

Parking
April 1-October 31 guests may park on the street in front of the apartments
November 1-March 30 guests may park overnight in the parking lot next to the door – see map on hallway info board
During winter months, our contracted plow will come through at various times to clean driveways as they can. All tenants have access to shovels if needed around their vehicles. During the day hours we ask that you park up front on the street in order to assist with snow cleanup.
Building Rules
This apartment building does have “Quiet Hours” from 10pm until 8am. There are several apartments around you thus we cannot allow any parties and ask that TV and Music is turned down after 10pm and that there is no excessive noise after 10. By no means does that mean it’s lights out, bed time at 10 pm, we just ask that you respect your neighbor’s right to a good night sleep.
Other Notes
For your convenience, several delivery services operate in the South Range/Houghton area:
- Instacart – Deliveries from Econo Foods
- DoorDash – Local restaurants, fast food, and convenience stores
- Spark (Walmart Delivery) – Order groceries and essentials directly from Walmart
Note: Delivery times can vary in rural areas—ordering early in the day is recommended for same-day service. Some services may deliver to the front stairwell or require meeting the driver at the door.
Month+ Tenants
- We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, dish soap, and trash bags. For extended stays, guests may need to restock these items.
- South Range Mail is through the post office on the corner of 1st and M-26
USPS – You can set up a box for mail – Sometimes they ask for a lease, you should have a copy through TurboTenant, and we can email a copy to you if needed.
FexEx & UPS – Deliver to the building – Typically dropping in the front stairwell in the middle door on the front of the building. You can add “Trailside Furnished Apt” to guide deliveries
- Garbage – There are 6 cans on the side of the building for use. Please bag all the garbage.
- There is no regular housekeeping during your stay. We ask that you maintain general cleanliness. Let us know if you need cleaning tools or extra linens.
