Discover the Hidden Gems of the Western UP with Us!
Agate Beach at Sunset!

We are often asked via our website or Facebook pages about what to do or see while visiting the Western UP. We’re excited to share that our own adventures continue as we start a list of beaches to explore, with 20 already on our radar and more to add. We plan to do the same for waterfalls and share these hidden gems with all of our adventurers traveling to the area. There’s so much to see and do in the UP, with countless secret surprises waiting to be discovered.

Beach list start

Our goal is to not only to provide you a solid Basecamp to adventure out of and put a roof over your head during your stay but also to guide you to all the special spots here. This summer, we’re dedicated to visiting as many beaches and waterfalls as possible, compiling lists and maps to enhance our “Things to Do” page. From great coffee and craft beers to breathtaking waterfalls and serene beaches, we want to help you create the perfect vacation. And let’s not forget the great trail system for Side by Sides and Snowmobiles – in almost all of our properties you can ride straight from your Basecamp north to Copper Harbor or south to the Porcupine Mountains without trailering your adventure vehicle!
