Backroads and Reminiscence: A Real Estate Adventure

Yesterday’s real estate travels took me on an adventure across the backroads of Houghton, Baraga, and Iron counties to explore a rustic property with multiple cabins. While most of the cabins had seen better days, the potential was undeniable.

The surprising part of the journey? With over half my drive spent on gravel roads, I saw only two trucks belonging to hunters, most camps appeared empty, and not a single deer crossed my path. It was a stark contrast to hunting seasons of decades past when it felt like you couldn’t go 100 yards without spotting hunters’ trucks or folks combing the state land for their legendary 30-point buck.

Far fewer deer and hunters these days compared to the golden ages of deer hunting that everyone loves to reminisce about. Still, it was a beautiful day for an adventure through the woods and backroads. 歷 #RealEstateAdventures #BackroadsJourney #DeerSeasonReflections #TheUPWay
