Attack the Week: Kicking Off Monday with Energy & Adventure

Mondays are what you make of them—so instead of dreading it, let’s attack the week with energy and purpose! This past weekend was packed with family adventures as we traveled to Iron Mountain and Negaunee for various reasons, soaking in the beauty of the Keweenaw Bay sunrise along the way. The mix of open water and shimmering ice was a stunning sight to start both days.

Wildlife was out in full force this weekend! Deer were on the move, taking advantage of the warm weather, and we got to visit the penned deer at Iron Mountain City Park—where four were still holding their antlers and all were more than happy to snack on the grapes and apples we brought. Back home in Chassell, a coyote made its way through our property. While the neighborhood might not be thrilled about that visitor, it’s always exciting to see nature up close.

Speaking of wildlife, we’ll be setting up automatic feeders and adding a second trail camera (well out of the dogs’ reach!) to capture more activity around the property. While deer haven’t shown up yet, our neighbor had six to eight turkeys in his yard—always fun to watch and listen to. With the automatic feeders, we hope to attract even more variety and will be sharing updates as we go!

With 50-degree weather today, it’s full-speed ahead on rental renovations and updates! We’ll be tackling projects all month long, both at home and across our properties, and we’re excited to share the progress as we move into spring.

Get outside, enjoy the sunshine, and let’s connect! Whether you’re looking for help with buying a home, improving finances, finding camp land, or getting started in real estate investing, we’re here to help.
